So, if any of you have had the pleasure of meeting Prissy Cat will know that she's not your average cat. She pretty much hates all people and animals except for me... and sometimes she even gets ticked off at me. She's Queen of her house and even when her sister Puff was alive, she pretty much ruled the roost and everyone knew it. Only problem is, when there are more than one or two people in the house, she's hiding somewhere.
Saturday, I finally packed her up and brought her over to Chris's house. She HATES change.... and pretty much wet her carrier and then when I finally took the carrier apart for her to get out and move around (after being in it for a couple of hours), she crawled into her dog house and wet that as well. She's SLOWLY getting used to her surroundings.... kind of. She comes out at night and when we go in and sit with her. Otherwise, she's in her dog house.
Yesterday we cracked the door for a few minutes to let Krekel and Wrigley check her out and so that she can see them as well.... as long as she was in my lap and at a distance, she was fine. Any movement by them, she gets up and heads for her doghouse. SO, today, I thought I'd sit by the garage door with it cracked to give the cats another chance to meet each other. heheheheh!!! Very entertaining.....

This is Wrigley poking his little face through the crack to get another good look at Prissy. She was actually sitting right next to me when I took the picture. They pretty much touched noses, he hissed, she hissed, and then Krekel did a walk-by hissing. The whole time... Prissy was purring and laying on her back, almost to say that she's not going to hurt them. Funny, because I think if it were her house, those two would be cornered on the couch after having their ears boxed.
This is Prissy looking through the crack of the door back at Wrigley. He wasn't too excited about that. I don't think he moved much as long as she was looking at him. Still, she didn't try to charge him or make any harsh movements... like her usual pounding on the doors and windows that she does when she normally sees another animal. She kept her cool and purred and watched. I almost think it's a trick.... like, if she acts nice, she can be in the house and once she's in the house... THEN she'll defeat the others and become Queen again. Maybe she'll surprise me.
You can almost see the disgust in his eyes.
Krekel and Wrigley in their positions, keeping a close eye on the door in case she broke through and attacked them.
hehehe! I wish this one turned out a little bit better. This is Krekel finally getting close enough to the door that she can see Prissy rolling around on her back. If looks could kill. hehehehe!!!
A few more days maybe? She MIGHT be ready to leave the garage and live with the other two.... maybe... I guess time will only tell.
